Abstract

Abstract. In 176 patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis (95 patients with new cases (group I) and 81 patients with relapse (group II) for the first time, conducted analysis of socio-psychological determinants and socio-demographic characteristics, awareness of tuberculosis and compliance was carried out. The data were obtained on the basis of processing of disease histories and conducted anonymous questioning according to the developed questionnaire. The most common aggravating factors among different social groups that reduce adherence to treatment were established.
