To publish an article in the scientific journal “Actual problems of preventive medicine” № 28'2024 it is necessary no later than September 26, 2024:

Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
Journal electronic version will be available on the website before November 30, 2024.
Authors who ordered a printed copy will receive it before December 30, 2024.
The publication fee is 1200 UAH (for 12 pages). Each extra page is 40 UAH. The publication fee covers expenses associated with reviewing, article proofreading and editing, journal mocking-up and publication of its electronic version. If desired, an author can order a printed copy of the journal.
The cost of a printed copy is UAH 800, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.
ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS
Article volume: 10-40 pages. Font: Times New Roman, 14 fs, line spacing 1,5 (1 for tables), all margins – 2 cm, paragraph indention – 1.25 cm.
Formatting paragraphs using spaces or tabs is not allowed. In the text, it is necessary to use quotation marks of the following type: “ ”. Hyphenation in the text is prohibited. Pages are not numbered. Dashes (–) and hyphens (-) are clearly differentiated.
At the beginning of the article, the UDC (Universal Decimal Classification index) is indicated on the left.
Key information in the language of the article:
The title of the article is bold, aligned in the center without indenting the first line of the paragraph. One line is omitted above and below the title.
Author’s surname and initials.
Affiliation, city, country (place of work/study of the authors).
Abstracts and key words. The volume of abstracts is 250-300 words (at least 1800 characters). Abstract structure: purpose, material, findings, and conclusions. The abstract should act as a source of information independent from the article and clarify its main content. The English-language abstract should be written in high-quality English; the use of computer translation is prohibited. Key words: 4-5 words.
A scientific article should comprise the following elements:
Introduction. Problem statement, its importance, topic relevance, analysis of recent research and publications; specification of previously unsolved parts of the general problem the article is devoted to.
Material and methods. Participants, research organization.
Research results. Statement of original research material with a detailed description and substantiation of findings (research results with mandatory statistical processing should be presented as tables, graphics, diagrams, or figures. Data in tables should be reliable. A table’s title and name of graphics should meet their contents).
Discussion. Data obtained should be compared with one of domestic and foreign scientists.
Conclusions. A brief formulation of the research results, interpretation and generalization of the topic. Conclusions should be concise, specific, substantiated, correspond to the research purpose, and emerge from the main content.
Bibliography. It refers to original sources which are designed following the national standard of bibliographic description DSTU 8302:2015. DOI is mentioned if any. It is recommended to use about 10-15 items (60% of the last five years) meeting the research problem; each should be referred in the text.
Links to literary sources are indicated in square brackets; they are separated from each other by comma, e.g., [3; 4; 15].
References. The list should meet the standards of APA (American Psychological Association). Foreign publications mentioned in Bibliography are duplicated.
Key information in English: name, surname and initials of the author(s), full name of the organization, abstract and keywords (4-5).
The English-language abstract must be written in high-quality English, the use of computer translation is not allowed.
If the article is written in English, information in Ukrainian is provided at the end of the article.
Information about the authors. Full names of authors, ORCID are given at the end of the article.
Figures (diagrams, photos) and tables should be numbered, titled and placed after the first reference to them in the text (for example, Fig. 1) or (Table 1.).
Illustrations are accepted in raster format *.jpg and must have sufficient contrast. The resolution must be 300 dpi (the actual size of the image in the text of the article).
The word "Table", its number and name are written on top. Tables should be executed in Word editors without filling. It is forbidden to use photos of tables.
Articles that are not properly formatted will not be accepted for publication. The editors reserve the right to edit the manuscript.
